Drake brings FOMO tracks to streaming
Drake has officially released four tracks featured in his FOMO short film, giving fans access to some of the music first previewed during the project in September.
According to Billboard, the four-song release arrived on streaming services on Friday, 2 October, as the deluxe edition of Drake’s HABIBTI album.
The release includes two collaborations with Don Toliver, marking the pair’s first recorded collaborations.
The tracks were first heard during Drake’s FOMO project, an hour-long film and livestream that premiered on YouTube on 15 September.
Don Toliver joins Drake on two tracks
The expanded HABIBTI includes “Cold Shoulder”, featuring Don Toliver and Yebba.
Toliver also appears on “Solar Eclipse”, which incorporates elements of Ella Langley’s hit “Choosin’ Texas”.
Langley’s song has enjoyed a lengthy run at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while Drake previously previewed his version with Toliver during the FOMO film.
The four-pack is completed by “Quebec” and “Classic Pt. 2”, an extended version of the original HABIBTI track “Classic”.
“Quebec” had already been released on YouTube following its appearance in FOMO, but had not yet reached streaming services at the time, Billboard Canada reported.
Drake teased the release days earlier
Drake signalled earlier in the week that music from FOMO was heading to streaming platforms.
During a Kick livestream, the Canadian rapper told viewers that “a bunch of songs” from the film would be released, although he made clear that not every unreleased track would be included.
Another FOMO collaboration, “Miss My Dawg” with Yeat, had already received an official release in September as part of Yeat’s COCOON EP.
The latest release follows a busy year for Drake, who released ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR in May and has confirmed plans to tour again in 2027.
